July 21 & 22
Hey everyone, it has been a while… What are you gonna do this weekend? How about coming out to the farmers’ market, it is in full swing with some outstanding produce and meat, let us not forget the meat like boudin noir, bratwurst, green chile pork sausages, mexican chorizo links, or duck crepinettes all great for the grill. Some great lamb top sirloin roasts, lamb racks and chops, and a bit of merguez.
For duck I will have smoked breast, fresh breast, confit, duck liver pate, country style duck pate, and the crepinettes with fig as mentioned above.
Also, bacon, lamb bacon, cotta, guinea hen pate, liverwurst, chicken galantine, quail with fig, sausage, focaccia bread stuffing, spicy trotter terrine, and a small amount of corned beef hash. Like always fats and stocks and a few other items. See you this weekend which by the way is the unofficial one year of The Fifth Quarter it is actually the 24th. So thank you all so much for a great year and even better things to come. Scottie.
